Are You Reigning Or Complaining?

Are You Reigning Or Complaining?

Are You Reigning Or Complaining?

“The soul that gives thanks can find comfort in everything; the soul that complains can find comfort in nothing.”—Hannah Whitall Smith

Most of us feel that we have a right to complain about our past, present, and future circumstances. It’s human nature, right? “It’s too hot.” “It’s too cold!” “It’s not enough!” “It’s too much!” “Too many bills!” “Too little money!” “Too much pain!” “Not enough gain!” “I’m unhappy!” “I’m unhealthy!” “I’m unfulfilled!” “I’m unsatisfied!” “I hate my job!” “I don’t like my neighbors!” “I want more!” Complain! Complain! Complain!

Who are you complaining against and what are you complaining about? Are your complaints really against the author and the finisher of your faith? Do you complain because of where the Lord has you at the present moment?

Like the children of Israel, many of us have missed the point of our wilderness experience, and we have missed God.

And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, “How long shall I bear with this evil congregation who complain against me? I have heard the complaints which the children of Israel make against me. Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in my hearing, so I will do to you: The carcasses of you who have complained against me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered… Numbers 14.26-39

We miss God when we focus on the problem instead of focusing on the provider. We miss God when we allow distractions to stagnate us. We miss God when we allow the little picture to move us away from the BIG picture!

Reigning is defined as exercising your power and authority to dominate and to be in control. God’s desire is for you to reign and rule from your position of AUTHORITY, not from a position of INFERIORITY. II Peter 1.3 says that “His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness.”

Why complain when you could use that same power and energy to reign? Complaining moves you out of gratitude mode and into desert mode. Yes, I said “Desert Mode.”

The desert is a dry, unproductive place, with very little growth. It’s a place with no water, no word, and no blessings. God never told us to complain about the mountain. He told us to speak to the mountain and it would obey us.

Moses angered God because he allowed the complaining Hebrews to influence him. The bible says that Moses disobeyed when he struck the rock, instead of following God’s instructions of speaking to it.

When we use our authority by speaking, decreeing, or declaring a thing, it comes into being. Our voice is the primary way that we exercise our rule and reign on the earth.

Here are a couple of scientific facts to consider regarding a complaining spirit:

  • It releases the stress hormone known as cortisol which can raise your blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

  • It rewires your brain for negativity which in turn causes more negative energy to be released. This in turn, repels positive energy.

  • It stops the supernatural flow of blessings into your life.

  • It hinders your creativity, intuitiveness, and ability to receive new ideas.

You have been given power to reign, rule, and to dominate on purpose. Exercise your God-given rights. Start reigning today and put your complaining to flight.

How To E-LIMINATE Your LIMITS

How To E-LIMINATE Your LIMITS

How To E-IMINATE Your LIMITS

Have you ever said to yourself, “There has to be more to life than this” or “I don’t feel that I can go any further?” How about feeling stuck, trapped, or that you needed to do something different, but just didn’t think that you could?

Your LIMITING beliefs are LIMITING you! If you believe that you can’t, then you won’t. If you believe that you can, then you will. As a woman thinks and feels, so is she.

How often have you gotten the same old thing because you continued to believe the same old thing? Now is the time to get rid of your stinking thinking.

Here are 4 steps to help you become LIMITLESS:

1. You must know that there is always a way out

Seek and you will find. Look for it. We never feel that there is a way out because we can’t see it with our physical eyes. God says to acknowledge him in all your ways and he will direct your path. If you can’t see your way out, look to him and he will show it to you.

The problem with many of us is that when God shows us the way, we don’t always follow. We procrastinate, make excuses of why we can’t do it, get fearful, and not to mention being down right lazy.

2. No one can LIMIT you BUT you

Stop playing the blame game. Yes, there are some very serious things that have happened to you in life. That person wronged you, you’ve had some bad experiences, and you have a few haters. Yes it may hurt, but put a band-aid on it and go on. You are still here for a reason.

Keep reminding yourself that nothing is too hard for God. It is his desire to make your impossibilities possible. Allow him to strengthen and empower you to fulfill his purpose.

3. Move forward regardless of how you feel

You’ve heard it said before, ”Fake it, until you make it!” I know it may not be easy, but just take one step at a time. How about baby steps? One baby step at a time. If you do that, soon your baby steps will get bigger. After a while, you will run and the fear of moving forward will be a thing of the past.

4. Rid your negative self-talk

Don’t allow it to come out of your mouth. “I’m too fat, no one likes me, I never have any money, there are no good men, I can never get the right job, etc.”

The bible says that you have whatever you say. If you continue to say it, you will continue to have it. Your power to be LIMITLESS is in your positive thinking and speaking.

No more Lies and Imitations Manifesting Instead of Truth (LIMIT).  It’s a new day and a new year.  Make your life new by refusing to accept anymore LIMITS in your life.
