My children are far from perfect, but where would they be if I hadn’t spent countless hours praying for their well being and for God’s will to be done in their lives? In this treacherous day and time, we cannot afford to be spiritually lazy or half-step in prayer. I Peter 5.8 tells us that Satan is looking for the weakest link. The enemy prowls around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour, so we must be alert and on guard at all times. If Satan can’t get to you, then he will attempt to destroy your children. We must pray specifically and with fervency. We must pray with power. We must pray with authority, and we must pray the word of God.
Didn’t God save Abraham and his entire family from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah? God also saved Noah and his family from the flood that covered the earth. The same God will save and protect your children also. As a parent, you have the Lord’s permission to stand in the gap for your young children and for your adult children. Extend those prayers to your grandchildren and to your great grandchildren.
Matthew 17.14-21 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.” Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”
What is Jesus saying to us in this passage? He’s telling us not to give up. Don’t give up believing, don’t give up seeking him, and don’t give up standing in the gap for your children. Where would this parent be if he had stopped with the disciples? His persistence caused a miracle to manifest on behalf of his child. Even if you can’t touch your children physically, know that there is no distance in prayer.
Take nothing for granted. Employ the angels of goodness and mercy by declaring his word over your children. Declare those things over their lives that are not, as though they are. Declare the protection and the peace of God. Declare wisdom and good health. Declare God’s favor over them and most importantly, cover them daily with blood of Jesus!
Prayer For Your Children:
Father in the name of Jesus, you said in Job 22.28, that I can declare a thing and it shall be established unto me. I thank you for my child/children name(s) and that they are a blessing of the Lord.
I cover my children with the blood of Jesus and I declare that they are your disciples and great is their peace. I declare that _________ is blessed because he/she is the seed of the righteous. I declare that no weapon formed against him/her shall be able to prosper. I declare that the angels of goodness and mercy are encamped round about him/her, protecting him/her in all of his/her ways. I declare that no evil shall come against _______ and no plague shall come near his/her dwelling. I declare that _______ is full of the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding and that he/she walk worthy before you unto all pleasing. I thank you Lord and I declare that ________ shall fulfill the hope of his/her calling in Christ Jesus and bring you glory. I declare that ________ is blessed in the city and blessed in the field. He/she is blessed going in and blessed coming out. I thank you Lord that _________ is your sheep and the voice of a stranger he/she will not follow.

How Women CAN Save $500-1000 A Month
Are you tired of your money telling you where it’s going instead of YOU telling your money where to go? Have you ever been out of money for the month but there was still several days in the month left? How about needing a down payment for a home or car but you are challenged because you just don’t have it? Realize that YOU are the one in charge of your money, not your money in charge of you!
Saving money is not only a science but it is also a discipline. Once you reach that first milestone then you will be encouraged to save even bigger and better. Often times, to start saving may be painful but I promise you that it will get easier as you go along. Consider the following tips to help you reach your goal:
- Make a firm decision to do it. Regardless of how crazy it may sound, set your goal to $500-$1000.

Change your mindset from I CAN’T SAVE to I CAN SAVE!

Print out a picture of what you’re saving for like a home, car, vacation, retirement, etc. Post it where you can see it regularly. It will keep you motivated.

Don’t worry about how far away you may be from your goal but just START RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE! Make a list of all of the possible avenues where you can first find money, i.e. sofa cushions, old purses/wallets, your car, stored pennies/change, drawers, etc. Gather it together into one place (ie) jar, coffee can, etc. Make this is your starting point.

Decide on a hiding place to put your savings. It can be a separate bank account or an out of the way shoe box. Wherever you choose, make sure it’s a place where you’re not tempted to touch it.

Now make a list of of your weekly expenditures. Don’t leave anything out especially morning coffee, lunch, snack machines, eating out, entertainment, bank charges, late charges, automatic debits, gasoline, etc.

Meditate on the list. Where do you see changes that can be made? What expenses can you get rid of or minimize?

Contingent on the spending changes you can make and your expenses that you have chosen to minimize, make your step-by-step plan of ATTACK!

This step is my favorite. SELL, SELL, SELL! Sell things that you are not using. Things in storage, in the garage, in your closet, the children’s closet, unwanted gifts, etc. Feel free to make Ebay, Craigslist, yard sales, and other selling venues your best friend. Now let’s bring in extra money!

Return items to the store for a refund that you haven’t used. You will be surprised at how much money this tip accumulates.

Resist the temptation to spend your tax refund. If you normally have a sizable refund, adjust your withholding and make the extra money part of your monthly saving program.

Here’s a quick list of additional temptations to avoid: eating out, Starbucks, extra add-ons to your cable subscription, regular shopping mall visits, nail & hair salons, expensive gift giving, impulse purchases, and pricey entertainment.

Remain faithful to yourself and your goal. Remember this is all about you for YOU!
Remember…Rome wasn’t built in a day but it was built step by step and piece by piece. If you stick with your savings goal, you too will be successful.

Suck it up, Step it up, & Soar!
Often times success may elude you over and over again. When it does, remember this formula: “If at first you don’t succeed… Suck it up, Step it up, and Soar.”
Suck it up means to square your shoulders, put on your big girl panties and stand strong. Don’t allow your emotions and self pity to control your life. It means to push through the pain in spite of hardship or how it feels. Refuse the victim mentality and be the VICTOR!
Step it up means to take bigger strides and to be better than you were before. I know it’s easier said than done but when you change your mind then your actions will change. Think BIG and BIG actions will follow. You ask “How do I change my thinking?” You change it with your focus. Change your current limited focus to the unlimited focus of what you desire. If you want a better body then make healthy eating and exercise your focus. If you desire more money, focus on increase and multiple sources of income.
Now it’s time to S-O-A-R! Sail/Succeed-Over-All-Resistance.
Here are a few keys to help you along the way:

Just accept the fact that with each attempt to succeed, resistance may come so don’t be surprised when it shows up.

Be on guard and ready for anything.

Stay committed to your current course of action.

Encourage yourself. Don’t look for others to pat you on the back.

If you see it, you can have it. Remember….You CAN DO IT!

THE FAVOR IS REAL!!
“It just happened out of the blue.” “It fell right into my lap.” “I don’t know how, but I passed.” “I can’t believe it, but it was easy.” “I didn’t ask for anything, they just gave it to me.” “I can’t explain it, I’m just blessed.” Yes the struggle is real, but the FAVOR is more REAL!
I can’t tell you how often I have watched others work hard for a position, for increase, or a blessing but for me it was easy. Easy for me without having to game someone for it or not having to bust my behind for it.
Has this ever happened to you? It’s called divine favor.
Over the years, many have heard about favor, gotten excited about favor, and even stumbled on favorable circumstances every now and then. How do you get it to operate in your life on a daily basis?
God has divine favor for you everyday but why haven’t you seen it? What does it take to live this way?
What is favor, exactly?
Favor is preferential treatment or unfair partiality. It’s when you are given what you DON’T deserve. It’s doors opening, blessings falling, supernatural occurrences, being at the right place at the right time, with no real explanation as to why.
Romans 5 says that we have access into his grace (favor ) by our faith. Keep in mind, that your faith, belief, action, causes God’s divine favor to come your way and manifest in your life.
In the following are a few steps to help you activate divine favor:
Step 1:
Expectation is powerful. Expect God to do the unexpected in your life. He loves it when we totally depend on him.
Step 2:
Regardless of how things appear to be, make the decision to walk by faith and not by sight. Favor is received simply by faith
Step 3:
Declare, Declare, Declare! Declare favor in your life. Speak your desires into existence. You have what YOU say, not what others say about you.
Step 4:
Daily give God praise for his favor. He inhabits, lives, and abides in the praises of his people.
Here are just a few scriptures on favor to encourage you:
- For out of His fullness [the superabundance of His grace and truth] we have all received grace upon grace [spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing, favor upon favor, and gift heaped upon gift]. John 1.16 AMP
- For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor you will surround him as with a shield. Psalm 5.12 NKJV
- Through Christ we can approach God and stand in his favor. So we brag because of our confidence that we will receive glory from God. Romans 5.2 GW
- A good man will obtain favor from the Lord, But He will condemn a man who devises evil. Proverbs 12.2 AMP
- Good understanding gains favor, But the way of the unfaithful is hard. Proverbs 13.15
- And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity. II Corinthians 9.8 AMP
- But Jehoahaz sought the favor of the Lord, and the Lord listened to him; for He saw the oppression of Israel, how the king of Aram oppressed them. II Kings 13.4 AMP
- I also made provision for contributions of wood at designated times, and for the firstfruits. Remember me with favor my God. Nehemiah 13.31

Why Stay Small? Do It BIG! 
Are you settling for the small stuff while serving a BIG God? Are you allowing the size of your problem to determine the size of your God?
Didn’t he create the heavens and the earth, part the Red Sea, rain down manna from heaven, heal the sick, raise the dead, walk on water, feed 5000 people with 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread, turn water into wine, and much more?
Nothing that God does is small. Regardless of where you are or how you feel, his spirit in you is not small. So why should you stay small? Why should you believe small?
Our great BIG God is able to do exceedingly, above, all, that you could ever ask or think, so Ask BIG! Think BIG! Dream BIG! Live BIG! Pray BIG! Just believe it and will answer BIG!
Yes he can and will pay your bills. Yes he can and will heal your body. Yes he can and will bless you financially. Yes he can and will give you peace. Yes he can and will do BIG things in your life. Focus your faith on the possible, instead of the impossible.
I John 5.14-15 says, “Now this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him.”
It’s time to change your mindset to bigger and better. God wants to and desires to bless you beyond measure.
Here are 4 keys to help you on you BIG journey:
1. Take God out of the box. Don’t let the size of your vision or your problem determine the size of your God.
2. Step outside of your comfort zone. Even the man by the pool of Bethesda that waited for 38 years to be healed, had to leave his comfort zone at Jesus’ command. Rise, take up your bed, and walk.
3. Be willing to change. The blessing you desire is often on the other side of you needing to do something different. If you keep doing the same old thing, the same old way, you will continue to get the same old results.
4. Forget those things that are behind you, or what the past did to you. Don’t allow it to keep you bound. Press forward toward the mark for the BIG prize.

The word “blessed” means flourish, to succeed, to have an abundance of favor, to be prosperous or to be empowered to prosper.
In other words, if you are blessed, then you are already endowed with everything that you need to walk in that blessing and you are already endowed with everything that you need to receive that blessing. The blessing is already available to the individual that is BLESSED! It legally and lawfully belongs to you. It is yours!
“But I don’t feel blessed. I don’t look blessed.” Understand that the blessing has nothing to do with how you look or how you feel. It has nothing to do with where you have been BUT it has everything to do with where you ARE GOING!
The word “blessing” is present tense. It is a constant reality. The blessing is working in your life all of the time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Since it is always working, then that means that you are always blessed. You always have the ability to manifest prosperity and health.
To go and get your blessing means to move forward in life. It means to PUSH! Regardless of how you feel, continue to move forward. Don’t allow appearances or circumstances to keep you from the favor and the success that has already been given to you.
Here are several keys that you must remember:

Realize that you are not waiting to be blessed, but you are already blessed.

The blessing IS already available to you.

As you put ACTION to your ASKING and FEET to your FAITH, you will manifest your blessing.

Don’t allow yourself to be moved by external conditions.

Your blessing is YOURS! No one can take it from you.

The only thing that can stop you, is YOU!
